Crosby, Merseyside
Hours:
Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 3:30pm
Pay Rate: £110 per day
Contract:
November 2025, Ongoing - Long Term position
Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of young people with special educational needs? We are looking for a dedicated and proactive SEN Learning Support Assistant to join one of our fantastic partner schools in Crosby, Merseyside.
Responsibilities- Support pupils across both Primary and Secondary settings, including students with SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs), learning difficulties, and autism.
- Build strong relationships with students and staff, stay calm under pressure, and adapt to different learning environments.
- Confident, strong, and able to use their own initiative
- Passionate about supporting children and young people with additional needs
- Positive, patient, and resilient in challenging situations
- Interested in education, psychology, or child development
- Sports coaches, psychology graduates, or those with relevant experience are encouraged to apply
- Previous experience working as a SEN TA or supporting children with special educational needs
- A calm, nurturing, and proactive approach to supporting children's learning and development
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- An Enhanced DBS check (or willingness to obtain one)
- Relevant qualifications (e.g. Level 2/3 TA, SEN, or equivalent) - desirable but not essential

This role is subject to an Enhanced DBS (child and adult workforce), satisfactory references, and full compliance with KCSIE (2024) guidance and safer recruitment standards. Overseas police checks may be required where applicable.
