Centre Manager – The Bridge

Southport Education Group is looking for an inspirational Centre Manager to lead The Bridge, our new specialist provision for young people with additional needs who have been unable to thrive in mainstream education. This is your chance to make a real difference – creating a safe, nurturing environment where learners rebuild confidence, develop life and vocational skills, and move towards further education or employment.

In this role, you’ll shape a holistic curriculum blending academic, vocational, and therapeutic approaches, while driving operational excellence and student wellbeing. You’ll lead and motivate a dedicated team, build strong partnerships with schools and agencies, and deliver up to 170 teaching hours per year – bringing your expertise directly to the classroom.

If you have empathy, patience, and resilience and experience working in SEND or alternative provision, and you’re passionate about supporting young people who need care and nurturing to learn, this is the role for you.
