Role - SEN Teacher

Location - Southport, Sefton

Start date October 2025

Pay - £31,650 - £49,084

CER Education are currently recruiting an SEN Teacher for a specialist SEN School in Sefton. The school provide both care and education services to children and young people with moderate to severe learning difficulties aged 8-19 years old.

The school are looking to recruit a qualified teacher who has had previous experience working with moderate to severe learning difficulties or has experience working within a SEND setting.

The role is to start in January 2026 and will continue until July 2026.

• A relevant degree level Teaching qualification and experience in a school - Primary, Secondary or SEND School
• Hold QTS and experience in SEN / Mainstream education
• Experience of working in a SEN school with children who have learning difficulties and can display severe challenging behaviour is desirable
• Enhanced DBS or a willingness to obtain one
