McH&N Management Company, the Thomas Organization is a network of McDonald’s Restaurants located in Northeast New Jersey and Rockland County, New York. The franchises are owned and operated by Herbert and Nellie Thomas, 30‑plus year McDonald’s Owner‑Operators. Our focus is on ensuring all customers leave happy by consistently serving safe, hot, fresh food with a smile in a spotless restaurant.
Shift Manager Responsibilities- Lead and manage daily shifts, providing leadership to crew and other managers.
- Create shift schedules and plan for each shift.
- Monitor performance, maintain quality, service and cleanliness standards.
- Ensure food safety, inventory management, and daily maintenance.
- Handle safety, security and profitability monitoring.
- Communicate with the next Shift Manager for smooth hand‑offs.
- Assist departments in meeting their goals and targets.
- Strong customer service orientation with a smile.
- Ability to train and develop team members.
- Knowledge of food safety procedures and health regulations.
- Good communication and internal coordination skills.
- Time‑management, punctuality, and a neat uniform.
- Experience in franchise restaurant operations is a plus.
Salary: $16‑$17 per hour, based on experience.
