Registered Nurse (RN) – Behavioral Health / Psychiatry

Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Psychiatric RN to join a multidisciplinary care team. This role utilizes a team nursing model, requiring high levels of collaboration with physicians and social workers to manage acute psychiatric care and facilitate complex discharge planning.

Core Responsibilities

• Interdisciplinary Collaboration: Participate in team meetings and clinical rounds with physicians and social workers to develop and adjust treatment plans.
• Patient Advocacy & Discharge Planning: Coordinate with social services to ensure safe and effective transitions of care and discharge outcomes.
• Medication Management: Utilize Omnicell automated dispensing systems for accurate medication administration.
• Clinical Documentation: Maintain precise electronic health records using the EPIC charting system.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Experience: Minimum of two (2) years of dedicated clinical experience in a Psychiatric/Behavioral Health setting.
• Licensure: Current and valid Registered Nurse (RN) License.
• Technical Proficiency: Prior experience with EPIC and Omnicell is required.
• Note: IV certification is not required for this specific role.
