Job OverviewThe Electronics Assembler is responsible for complex and diversified assembly of electronic products, primarily thru-hole printed circuit boards (PCBs). This role requires intricate fitting, adjusting, and aligning of components within close tolerances, along with excellent hand-soldering skills. Assemblers fabricate products in part or whole by following established procedures, work orders, and quality standards in an ISO environment.
Job Specifications- Assemble and/or wire complex equipment using blueprints, models, and model prints
- Perform thru-hole PCB assembly
- Apply skilled fitting, adjusting, and aligning within close tolerances
- Solder primarily thru-hole components to best commercial specifications
- Follow work cell procedures and ISO quality standards
- Set up and operate basic production machines such as component trim machines, AMP machines, and riveting machines
- Build harness assemblies
- Use hand and power tools as required
- Utilize work order packages and online barcode reporting systems for labor and manufacturing quantities
- Perform multiple operations on products within and outside the home department
- Perform related duties as assigned by the Supervisor
- Work overtime as required
- Minimum 1–3 years of electronic assembly experience
- Ability to read blueprints and schematics and identify components and color codes
- Excellent soldering skills
