Electronics Assembler Boonton, NJ

Pay rate: $19 - $20/hr

Schedule: Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

The Electronics Assembler is responsible for complex and diversified assembly of electronic products, primarily thru-hole printed circuit boards (PCBs). This role requires intricate fitting, adjusting, and aligning of components within close tolerances, along with excellent hand-soldering skills. Assemblers fabricate products in part or whole by following established procedures, work orders, and quality standards in an ISO environment.

• Assemble and/or wire complex equipment using blueprints, models, and model prints
• Perform thru-hole PCB assembly
• Apply skilled fitting, adjusting, and aligning within close tolerances
• Solder primarily thru-hole components to best commercial specifications
• Follow work cell procedures and ISO quality standards
• Set up and operate basic production machines such as component trim machines, AMP machines, and riveting machines
• Build harness assemblies
• Use hand and power tools as required
• Utilize work order packages and online barcode reporting systems for labor and manufacturing quantities
• Perform multiple operations on products within and outside the home department
• Perform related duties as assigned by the Supervisor
• Work overtime as required

• Minimum 1–3 years of electronic assembly experience
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics and identify components and color codes
• Excellent soldering skills
• Good verbal communication skills
