Senior Tax Manager

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and execute tax planning initiatives for federal and state projects, ensuring efficient and timely completion.
• Collaborate with finance, legal, and treasury departments to implement tax strategies that align with organizational goals.
• Oversee compliance and reporting related to transfer pricing and identify opportunities for tax savings through legislative changes and R&D credits.
• Enhance tax operations through process improvements and technological advancements.
• Advise on the tax implications of business decisions, mergers and acquisitions, and divestitures.
• Manage the review of corporate tax compliance and reporting, ensuring adherence to export tax compliance requirements.
• Supervise external consultants, ensuring projects are completed within budget and on schedule.
• Conduct in-depth technical research on emerging tax developments and communicate their implications to senior leadership.

Qualifications:

• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines effectively.
• Exceptional communication and problem-solving skills.
• In-depth expertise in federal and state tax regulations.
• Proficiency with tax compliance and accounting software.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with a bachelor's degree in tax or accounting; a master's degree in taxation is preferred.
• A minimum of 7 years of experience in corporate tax, ideally with experience in the manufacturing sector.
