This role is a machine operator in the cushion fill department, responsible for filling cushions, backs, and pillows into covers and regulating them to specification in accordance with standard operating procedures. The associate will work to meet hourly and daily departmental goals for safety, service, quality, and cost.

• Practice safe work practices and adhere to personal protective equipment standards throughout the facility.
• Perform daily tasks promptly and accurately to meet production goals, following documented standard operating procedures.
• Collaborate with team members and leadership to maximize productivity while maintaining quality and safety.
• Communicate openly and professionally with departmental leadership regarding issues or obstacles.
• Fill and regulate cushions and pillows at a minimum rate to maintain a buffer, targeting 6 pieces per hour with a goal of 8 pieces per hour.
• Ensure tags and tickets are correctly placed on items to support inventory tracking.

• At least 1 year of experience in cushion fill production in an upper‑end upholstered furniture manufacturing environment.
• Good oral and written communication skills in English.
• Ability to read production tickets and interpret standard operating procedures.
• Ability to perform multiple tasks in a fast‑paced environment to meet delivery requirements.
• Strong teamwork, urgency, and time‑management skills to meet deadlines.

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous leadership experience.
• Basic computer skills.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish.

• Ability to stand for 10‑hour periods and bend and twist at the waist and knees as needed.
• Frequently lift and pull items weighing 20–25 pounds and occasionally up to 60 pounds.
