Pay

The base pay range is $55,000.00/yr – $68,000.00/yr. Actual pay will be based on your skills and experience.

Hiring range: $55,000 to $68,000 annually.

  • Associate Licensed – $55,000 annually. Salary is based on education and experience; all associate licensed therapists start at $55,000 unless additional relevant experience is present.
  • Fully Licensed – $60,000 – $68,000 annually.

Your Impact

As the Family Foundations Supervisor, you will lead Crossnore’s Intensive In‑Home Team, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure children and families receive the best care possible. You will deliver clinical expertise, supervise staff, manage family caseloads, and be available for emergency consultation, fostering a safe and supportive environment that promotes healing and family stability.

Education / Experience
  • Master’s degree from an accredited college or university in a human services or related field.
  • Licensed clinician required (full or associate level LCSW, LCMHC, LMFT).
  • Minimum of 2 years experience providing direct services to children and families.
  • Previous supervisory experience strongly preferred.

  • Clinical Expertise:
    Proficiency in individual and family therapy, assessments, and treatment plans in line with NC Division of MH/DD/SA Service Definition.
  • Team Leadership:
    Strong leadership skills to supervise and support a diverse team.
  • Crisis Management:
    Ability to provide 24/7 crisis intervention support and guidance.

    Collaboration:

    Excellent interpersonal skills to consult with community agencies, schools, and other service providers.

    Skills:

    Detail‑oriented to maintain accurate documentation, supervise staff, manage budgets, and adhere to state regulations.
Job Duties and Responsibilities
  • Service Delivery
    • Ensure the Family Foundations team meets NC Intensive In‑Home Service Definition requirements.
    • Provide therapy and assessments for clients and families, ensuring regular team meetings and plan updates.
    • Maintain appropriate team‑to‑family ratios and service authorizations.
  • Supervision and Training
    • Lead individual and team supervision, performance evaluations, and professional development.
    • Provide on‑the‑job training and feedback, fostering accountability, collaboration, and respect.
    • Ensure team members are trained in crisis intervention, trauma‑informed care, and goal‑setting processes.
  • Crisis Support
    • Be available for immediate consultation 24/7 for crisis management and safety planning.
    • Collaborate with team members to address family crises and provide necessary medical and non‑medical referrals.
  • Quality Assurance
    • Monitor and review the quality of interventions through home‑based session visits, documentation review, and clinical records analysis.
    • Use data to evaluate and improve individual and team performance regularly.
  • Administrative and Compliance
    • Manage timesheets, expense reports, and team schedules, ensuring compliance with agency protocols.
    • Familiarize yourself with the Electronic Health Record system and ensure timely documentation.
  • Staff Management
    • Supervise staff, conduct performance appraisals, and ensure compliance with program requirements.
    • Hold staff accountable for delivering duties according to their job descriptions and meeting program goals.
  • External Relations
    • Develop relationships with social service agencies and community partners, promoting Crossnore’s mission.
    • Collaborate with other programs to ensure comprehensive care and support for children and families.
