Samaritan's Purse is seeking a detail-oriented Sr. Gear Store Operations Manager to join our team. In this role, you will collaborate closely with the Quality & Assurance Project Senior Manager to ensure ministry-imprinted marketing products meet high quality, quantity, and stewardship standards. You will manage inventory and presentation of these items to support and represent Samaritan's Purses mission effectively. Additionally, you will coordinate the setup of event Gear Stores and provide support for our online retail platform.
Responsibilities- Maintain your personal relationship with Jesus Christ and be an effective witness for Him.
- Supervise, mentor, and support the Operations Assistant Manager, Apparel and Imprint Marketing Inventory Assistant Manager, and Gear Store Coordinators, ensuring alignment with ministry standards for quality, accuracy, and excellence.
- Provide leadership across multiple locations and events, fostering collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
- Oversee departmental scheduling, staffing, and workflow planning to ensure operational readiness and responsive execution.
- Serve as the primary liaison between the Inventory Department and Gear Store operations, ensuring accuracy in product availability, item setup, and shipping requirements.
- Lead initiatives to resolve inventory discrepancies, streamline processes, and improve communication across teams.
- Serve as the primary liaison between the Events Department and Gear Store operations, ensuring the planning and execution of merchandise logistics for events.
- Oversee the planning of staffing and travel for event Gear Stores.
- Provide strategic direction and operational flow for Gear Store setups at Samaritans Purse events.
- Guide the forecasting and analytics process to support informed decision-making regarding product replenishment, reprints, and retirements.
- Manage operational budgets for campus and event Gear Stores, ensuring fiscal responsibility and effective resource allocation.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent and (5) years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Twelve credit hours of college-level Biblical studies are strongly preferred.
