A county environmental agency in Boone, NC is seeking a temporary Conservation Technician to oversee vital conservation programs, including the Emergency Watershed Protection Program. Candidates must possess an Associate Degree in Natural Resources or a related field and have experience in soil and water conservation. This role is critical to ongoing hurricane recovery efforts and provides an opportunity to contribute significantly within a temporary, contract basis without benefits.
Salary is up to $52/hour, dependent on qualifications and experience.
