Samaritan's Purse is seeking an Apparel & Imprint Material Coordinator. This role helps coordinate and is accountable for the timely production of clothing and imprinted products for all Samaritan's Purse ministry areas. Responsible for effective management of the physical production of apparel and imprinted items from the beginning request through the release of finished products, ensuring timely, cost-effective, and accurate fulfillment.

In the role of Apparel & Imprint Material Coordinator
, you will have the opportunity to:
- Maintain your personal relationship with Jesus Christ and be an effective witness for Him
- Works alongside the Apparel and Imprint Production Manager to coordinate the production of clothing and imprinted products for all areas of the ministry, with a concentration on Gear Store merchandise.
- Responsible for working alongside the QA Financial Specialist to ensure accounts payable processing, including requisitions, purchase orders, and approvals for assigned ministry areas.
- Lead communication between graphic artists, internal departments, and clothing vendors to achieve timely and accurate deliverables.
- Obtain, review, and file vendor manufacturing samples, color charts, etc.
- Initiate requests for bids, customer quotations, and purchase orders from vendors.
- Work alongside the Apparel and Imprint Inventory Specialist to replenish inventory of clothing items and meet departmental needs for new clothing.
- Route apparel and imprinted materials to various approvers. Notify the designer, writer, Creative Services Manager, and Print Production Manager when all route responses have returned. Remind approvers when route responses are past due.
- Evaluate new product trends, materials, and production methods. Provide ongoing updates to internal and external stakeholders concerning their apparel and imprinted items requests.
- Maintain job log for assigned projects and final samples.
- Inspect and verify that completed deliverables meet quality standards in coordination with the Creative Services Manager. Develop, implement, and maintain procedures outlining the steps required to fulfill stakeholder requests.
- Work closely with inventory/purchasing to maintain levels of items in inventory utilized for retail. This also includes working with the web team to implement updates, providing item descriptions, and coordinating photography needed for website updates.
- Maintain the Communications process workflow application, including creating charts and reports, as well as direct contact with the vendor to ensure we are up-to-date with software programming.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent and two (2) plus years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Working knowledge of apparel merchandising
- Ability to successfully work and collaborate as part of a team

- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to think creatively and implement creative solutions
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
- Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
