Part-time Bookkeeper

PART-TIME BOOKKEEPER – MAINTENANCE COMPANY

Hours:

Approximately 30 Hours Per Week

We are a maintenance company seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Bookkeeper to manage daily accounting functions. The ideal candidate is organized, able to work independently, and experienced using Quick Books Desktop in a service-based business environment.

• Manage daily bookkeeping using Quick Books Desktop
• Create, process, and track invoices (50–100+ per week)
• Record payments, deposits, and company expenses
• Enter and code bills and process accounts payable
• Maintain accurate financial records and job costing
• Communicate with company leadership to maintain financial organization and accuracy

• Proven bookkeeping experience (maintenance, construction, or service industry preferred)
• Strong proficiency in Quick Books Desktop (required)
• Understanding of job costing, service invoicing, and billing processes
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to handle confidential information professionally
• Self-motivated with ability to work independently

• Experience working with property management companies
• Knowledge of sales tax reporting
