Overview

Westhaven, a senior care community, soon to be managed by Cassia, is hiring Registered Nurses (RNs) to join our dedicated care team. Position Type: Part-Time or Full-Time, working varying hours including every other weekend and every other holiday.

Shifts Available:

• Days 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM (Full-Time or Part-Time)
• Evenings 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM (Full-Time or Part-Time)
• Nights 10:00 PM – 6:00 AM (Full-Time or Part-Time)

Location: 112 W 4th St, Boone, IA 50036

• Provide hands-on nursing care and support individualized care plans alongside a clinical team
• Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician's orders and monitor effectiveness/response
• Monitor resident health and maintain documentation in care records
• Manage medications, supplies, and equipment in accordance with policies and procedures
• Document care using computerized medication administration and charting software
• Notify Clinical Manager, attending physicians, and family members of significant changes in a resident's condition and take follow-up action as necessary

• Must have a current Iowa RN license and be in good standing
• CPR certification or willingness to obtain
• Experience in Long Term Care preferred
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Self-starter with a desire to be part of a team
