Position SummaryThe Member Experience Coordinator serves as the first point of contact for members, guests, and visitors. This role is essential to delivering an outstanding member experience by providing exceptional customer service, accurate information, and operational support throughout the facility. Member Experience Coordinators represent Boone Flex’s mission and values through professionalism, approachability, and a strong service mindset.
This position requires a high level of interpersonal engagement, the ability to multitask in a dynamic environment, and a willingness to support both front-of-house and general facility operations.
Key Responsibilities Member & Guest Services- Greet members and guests in a friendly, professional, and welcoming manner
- Check in members, process day passes, and verify facility access
- Assist with new member onboarding, including membership setup and class registration
- Provide tours to prospective members and answer questions about programs, amenities, and policies
- Handle phone calls, emails, and in-person inquiries with clarity and professionalism
- Process payments, memberships, and class sign-ups through the POS and member management systems
- Track attendance, basic usage data, and member feedback
- Assist with marketing displays, flyers, and member communications as directed
- Support event check-ins, rentals, and special programming as needed
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and other departments to ensure smooth daily operations
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional front desk, lobby, and common areas
- Assist with light facility upkeep, including cleaning, resetting spaces, and restocking supplies
- Support overall facility presentation to ensure a safe and welcoming environment for all users
Work Environment Requirements
- Ability to remain on your feet for extended periods throughout a shift
- Ability to lift, carry, and move items weighing up to 75 pounds
- Comfortable working in an active, fast-paced recreational environment
- Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and rotating schedules as required
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills
- Prior experience in customer service, front desk, hospitality, or recreation settings preferred
- Ability to multitask, stay organized, and remain calm under pressure
- Basic technology skills, including POS systems, email, and Google Workspace tools
- CPR/AED certification preferred (or willingness to obtain within 60 days of hire)
- Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented with a positive attitude
