Regulated Work with Children

• This post is considered Regulated Work with Children under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. It is an offence to apply if barred from working with children.
• Successful candidates will require a PVG Scheme membership. The cost is managed by salary deductions over specified pay periods. PVG update checks may also apply.

Disclosures should be made under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974. Having a criminal record will not necessarily debar an applicant; decisions depend on the role and circumstances.
