What you’ll do

Health and Beauty associates focus on customer care and creative merchandising. They move incoming merchandise to the sales floor and create seasonal display features to meet customer needs.

Work areas include deli, bakery, and dry grocery, with responsibilities that may involve front lines customer service, decorating cakes, assisting with deli orders, stocking displays, and helping customers find products. Regardless of department, responsibilities include detailed cleaning of shelves and the department, temperature control, verifying dates, and disposing of lesser quality products. If you have a passion or experience with fresh food or grocery, this is the job for you.

• Help customers find the products they are looking for
• Ensure high quality products are available in produce, deli, bakery, dairy, meat, and other departments
• Pack ready-to-sell products in proper containers and stock displays
• Prepare and serve ready-to-eat food
• Assist customers in ordering cakes, fulfilling deli orders, or finding the right produce
• Keep area clean, sanitized, and customer-ready
