Role DescriptionThis is a full-time remote role for a Sales Engineer. Territory will be either Upper Midwest or Southeast. Travel is required. The Sales Engineer will be responsible for developing leads and industry contacts to grow the territory. The role is to help the prospect develop the ideal scope of work, communicate our value proposition and guide the prospect through the process.
Specifically this includes providing technical expertise to support the sales process, identifying customer needs, and crafting tailored solutions. Responsibilities include preparing and delivering technical presentations, coordinating with prospects to understand requirements, maintaining relationships with customers, and collaborating with the Trimac Engineering and Manufacturing teams to meet project goals. - A min of 7 years in the paint or powder coating industry
- Proven expertise in Sales Engineering, with the ability to design and present technical solutions that align with customer needs
- Strong knowledge of Sales and Customer Service for building and maintaining long-term client relationships
- Excellent Communication skills for efficiently conveying technical concepts and collaborating with cross-functional teams
- Experience in providing Technical Support to clients, with a problem-solving and solution-oriented mindset
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field preferred
- Ability to work independently in a remote role with strong time management skills
- Prior experience in industrial equipment sales is a big plus
- Understanding of infrared heating a plus
