Defines, governs, and continuously improves global airfreight pricing processes, standards, and quality frameworks. Responsible for developing and maintaining process guidelines, KPI governance, and compliance controls across all pricing activities and regions. Drives operational excellence through continuous improvement initiatives and performance transparency across the global pricing organization. Scope includes ownership of process design, governance for pricing KPIs, and continuous enhancement of Rate Card Management (RCM), Fuel surcharge Index (FSC), Global Spot Desk (GSD) and pricing performance standards.
PrincipalAccountabilities
- Define and govern global pricing processes: design and maintain standardized pricing processes, procedures, and documentation across all teams, regions and GSC. Ensure clarity, compliance, and alignment with global airfreight strategy and operational needs.
- KPI governance and performance management: establish, monitor, and govern global pricing KPIs to measure performance, quality, and responsiveness. Ensure data integrity, transparency and accountability across pricing functions.
- Quality management and compliance controls: define and implement quality standards and control mechanisms to ensure compliance with internal policies and audit requirements. Conduct regular process audits and drive corrective actions to mitigate gaps and risks.
- Continuous process improvement: lead global process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, accuracy and consistency in pricing activities. Collaborate with global/regional teams to identify best practices and embed continuous improvement culture.
- Cross‑functional alignment: partner with Pricing Production, System & Application, and Commercial Strategy peers to ensure processes, tools, and performance metrics are synchronized. Support the development and implementation of pricing‑related improvement programs and projects.
- PMO and project governance: lead and oversee key pricing‑related projects under the global airfreight PMO framework. Ensure initiatives are prioritized, tracked, and executed on time and within scope.
- Stakeholder communication and reporting: provide regular performance and governance reports to senior management. Communicate process updates, KPI results and improvement plans across all relevant teams and regions.
- Training and process enablement: develop and deliver training materials, playbooks and process guidance to ensure consistent understanding and application of global standards. Support onboarding and capability building for pricing teams.
- Establishes PMO standards, ensuring compliance and effective risk management.
- Strong process design, governance and continuous improvement expertise in a global, matrix environment.
- Proficient in both traditional and agile methodologies.
- Independently develops concepts and presentations. Aligns projects with business objectives, sets KPIs for success.
- Advanced in MS Office, focused on Visio, PowerPoint and Excel. Familiar with project management tools such as Jira and MS Project.
