Seeking Controller to join our growing accounting team!

We are looking for a Permanent Controller to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of the financial operations of our manufacturing company. This is a crucial role that will directly impact the financial health and success of our organization.

Responsibilities

Oversee all accounting operations including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL, Cost Accounting, Inventory Accounting, and Revenue Recognition.

Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances.

Prepare and publish timely monthly financial statements.

Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting.

Research technical accounting issues for compliance.

Support month-end and year-end close process.

Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting.

Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.

Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.

Perform additional controller duties as necessary.

Qualifications

5+ years of overall combined accounting and finance experience.

Advanced degree in Accounting or Business Administration.

Certified Public Accountant or Certified Management Accountant designation preferred.

Thorough knowledge of accounting principles and procedures.

Experience with creating financial statements.

Excellent accounting software user and administration skills.

Proven working experience as a Financial controller in the manufacturing industry.

Experience with general ledger functions and the month-end/year-end close process.

Strong understanding of Manufacturing Accounting and ability to reconcile complex accounts.

Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

Excellent leadership skills with a dedication to driving and achieving results.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
