HGV Class 1 Driver; Tramper

This is a fantastic opportunity for a dedicated and experienced Class 1 Tramper Driver to join our growing team. If you are self-motivated and committed to high standards of service, we are keen to hear from you.

• Driving our Class 1 vehicles in a safe and professional manner
• Tramping out 4 nights per week (Mon-Thu), travelling across our territory as required
• Collecting and distributing waste and waste products across our areas of operation
• Liaising and communicating effectively with customers, members of the public and our team at J. Dickinson’s
• Completing and recording pre-use and after-use checks on the vehicle
• Representing the company in an appropriate and professional manner at all times

• Valid Class 1 category driving licence
• Proven working experience as an HGV driver, with a good driving record and no traffic violations
• Previous experience working as an HGV driver in the waste industry would be advantageous; however, full training will be provided if you do not have this
• Understanding of transport compliance and the Working Time Directive
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Able to work proactively, independently and on own initiative

• Competitive daily rate, plus £35.00 meal and nights out allowance
• Monday to Friday, with 4 nights out required Mon, Tue, Wed, Thu
