Working independently in a small and busy team you will deliver benefits advice helping customers maximise their income. The main focus of your work will be managing an individual caseload, representing customers in person at first tier tribunals and taking appropriate cases to the Upper Tribunal.

• Manage an individual caseload, representing customers in person at first tier tribunals and taking appropriate cases to the Upper Tribunal.
• Demonstrate detailed knowledge of social security legislation and the appeals process and confidently represent and advocate for clients at appeal hearings.
• Work under pressure, juggling demands and priorities and meeting deadlines.
• Maintain excellent casework skills, keep customers informed and records up to date, and use IT applications to support casework activity.
