Overview
Are you a passionate Qualified Social Worker looking to make a meaningful impact in the lives of children and families? Bolton's Safeguarding Children Team is seeking a dedicated and experienced QSW to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will work collaboratively to ensure the safety and well-being of vulnerable children, while promoting their best interests in a supportive and nurturing environment.
Responsibilities- Conduct assessments of children and families to identify needs and risks.
- Develop and implement care plans in collaboration with families and other professionals.
- Manage a caseload of safeguarding cases, ensuring timely and effective interventions.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date case records in compliance with local and national standards.
- Participate in multi-agency meetings and contribute to strategy discussions.
- A recognized social work qualification (Degree in Social Work, DipSW, or equivalent).
- Registration with Social Work England.
- Experience working within a safeguarding children context.
- Strong assessment and analytical skills, with the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to working collaboratively with families and professionals.
