Hours:
Full-time, Monday to Friday
Salary:
Negotiable depending on experience and qualifications
About Us:
The Arches Garage is a busy and well-established independent garage offering MOTs, servicing and mechanical repairs. We pride ourselves on honest work, high standards and excellent customer service.
Role:
We are looking for a skilled Garage Technician to carry out servicing, diagnostics and repairs on a range of vehicles. This is a hands‑on role within a professional and friendly workshop.
- Carry out vehicle servicing (interim & full)
- Diagnose and repair mechanical faults
- Work on brakes, suspension, clutches, exhausts and engine components
- Conduct vehicle inspections
- Ensure all work is completed to a high standard
- Maintain workshop cleanliness and safety
- Proven experience as a Vehicle Technician / Mechanic
- Full UK driving licence
- Ability to work independently
- Strong diagnostic and problem‑solving skills
- Good communication skills
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Vehicle Maintenance
- Experience with diagnostic equipment
- MOT qualification (advantage but not required)
