Customer Development Executive – Carlsberg Britvic (on behalf of McCurrach Careers)

Location: Bolton & Surrounding areas (ideal postcode BL5)

Contract: Permanent, Full time – 40 hours per week

Salary: £29,750 basic + 20% bonus

Carlsberg Britvic is the largest multi‑beverage supplier in the UK and is home to some of the most iconic and popular beers and soft drinks. This role will help grow market share within your defined territory by maximizing brand availability and visibility in convenience stores.

What You’ll Do
  • Partner with customers by building outstanding relationships in convenience stores, understanding retailer’s needs, their local consumers, and executing solutions.
  • Adopt a full category‑based selling approach to growing and developing every outlet you work with for the benefit of both the retail outlet and Carlsberg Britvic.
  • Create a winning territory business plan and take a business‑development approach in your territory to grow sales and market share.
  • Use data and evidence‑based retailer successes to drive best practice in your territory, region, and across the team.
  • Develop a growth mindset and adaptable approach that demonstrates an ability to offer alternative approaches to tackling challenges and winning over your stores.

  • Previous experience in Direct Sales/Convenience or FMCG would be advantageous.
  • Good administration, organisational, and planning skills, commercially astute with great negotiation techniques.
  • Self‑motivated with IT and social media literacy.
  • Strong and resilient, with personal energy and the will to act at pace.
  • Full valid manual driving licence, eligibility to work in the UK and live within a 60‑minute commute from the location of the role.
