Description
As the Quality Inspector you will be tasked with the following;
Perform inspections on incoming materials, in-process production, and finished products.
Ensure compliance with quality standards and specifications.
Document and report inspection findings and non-conformities.
Collaborate with the production team to address quality issues.
Maintain and calibrate inspection tools and equipment.
Support continuous improvement initiatives within the manufacturing process.
Assist in the development and implementation of quality control procedures.
Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations within the workplace.
Profile
A successful Quality Inspector should have:
Previous experience in the industrial or manufacturing industry.
Knowledge of quality control processes and standards.
Proficiency in using inspection tools and equipment.
Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
A commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
Job Offer
£37,266 per annum.
Hours of work - 37 per week, explain start & finish times 7am- 3.30pm (Mon - Thur) 7am-1pm (Friday)
Holidays - 25 days' annual leave plus 8 bank holidays, reserve 3 for Christmas
Bonus - 5% of salary (75% based on Company, 25% on individual)
Pension - Standard Life, Defined Contribution scheme. Contribution levels 3%, 4%, 5% with 6%, 8% or 10% from the Company respectively. 7x death-in-service benefit if join the scheme
