Healthcare Nursing, RN Nurse, Surgical Assistant
Job Summary
Full time 37.5 hours per week. Permanent post. An exciting opportunity has arisen for Band 5 Trainee Anaesthetic Nurse to join our dynamic, friendly and forward‑thinking team. We are currently recruiting qualified nurses with relevant theatre experience to work in our theatre department and attend Bolton University to complete the anaesthetic module over a 6 month period. Our department offers a wide range of specialities including general surgery, trauma and elective orthopaedics, oncoplastic breast, gynaecology, obstetrics, ENT and oral maxillofacial surgery.
The Trust appreciates and values the contribution international nurses bring to the NHS. We also understand the support overseas nurses need to gain full registration once in the UK (via OSCE) and therefore we only recruit internationally to fill nursing vacancies when we can ensure support is in place. At this present time we aren't in a position to offer that support and therefore will not accept applications from overseas nurses who only have Part 1 NMC registration.
If that position changes in the future we will clearly advertise our opportunities for international nurses to join our nurse team here in Bolton.
Bolton NHS Foundation Trust is committed to being the best in our class of organisations. We offer a culture that supports our staff and helps them to be the best they can be and enables them to achieve better care to patients. All staff work to a set of five core values:
Vision, Openness, Integrity, Compassion and Excellence.
