Overview

Are you a Neonatal Nurse with an interest in ROP and looking for a new challenge? If so, join us in working within the new northwest ROP screening service led by the Northwest Neonatal Operational Delivery Network (NWNODN). This opportunity will support the ROP Model to deliver a sustainable service for the future, ensuring all infants across the northwest receive timely ROP screening and treatment.

Although you will primarily be based at your host location, there may be a requirement to cross cover other nurse screeners across the region. This will require travel and working within any of the 22 neonatal Trusts to cover sickness and absence as per the Hub and Spoke model. As this is a new role, all details are outlined within the network job description.

The aims of this Trust are to improve the health of and provide the best possible care to the population we serve and ensure that our staff has joy and pride in their work. We strive to recruit a workforce that reflects the communities we serve. We value our staff and can offer excellent opportunities for further training and development.

We are keen to reflect our local population and therefore applications from all sectors of the community are welcomed.

Here at Bolton our patients are at the heart of everything we do. We ensure our patients receive the highest quality of Care and are guided by our trust Values. We are proud that our Trust is a centre of excellence for maternity, neonatal and care for children, and that it has been rated as Good by the Quality Care Commission (CQC).

This is in recognition of the patient experience and quality of care that our staff provide to patients. It is also supported by our Nursing, Midwifery and Allied Health Professional Framework for Professional Practice. The vision of this Trust is to be recognised by the people of Bolton and beyond as an excellent provider of health and care services and a great place to work.

We strive to attract, recruit and retain high calibre skilled staff which reflect our communities. We are an inclusive employer who trains and develops our staff in a positive learning environment. We thrive on cultivating cultural architecture; if you have the right skills, attitudes and behaviours, in line with our Trust values, we welcome and appreciate the diversity you bring to our organisation.

We offer a wide range of staff benefits; please click on the link below to see what current benefits we have. Staff benefits - Bolton NHS FT ()
