Maintenance Engineer -Outside IR35 - FMCG

Overview

Maintenance Engineer – Bolton area, Greater Manchester. 4 on 4 off with overtime. This is a hands-on role working for an international manufacturer. You must have experience of maintaining machinery in a manufacturing environment.

Location:

Greater Manchester. Salary: £35+ Outside IR35. This is a multi-skilled role with a high-speed packaging manufacturer. FMCG experience is required. The position is an Outside IR35 contract with excellent pay and a long-term opportunity with overtime available.

The successful candidate will work in a friendly team environment, with opportunities for career progression and further skill development, including extra courses. The company promotes from within where possible.

• Carry out the requirements of the planned preventive maintenance programme.
• Provide solid practical electrical or mechanical hands-on maintenance experience for machinery.
• Attend to breakdowns in a fast-paced environment.
• Use initiative to solve breakdowns.
• Planned maintenance activities.
• Mechanical or electrical fault finding.
• Adhere to H&S policies.

• Mechanical or Electrical qualification or Apprenticeship and experience.

• Commutable from Bolton, Manchester, Rochdale, Oldham, Wigan, Blackburn, Preston and other parts of Lancashire and Greater Manchester.
• Excellent money; long-term contract; overtime available.
