Manufacturing Assistant

Position: Manufacturing Assistant (Contract)
Adecco are looking to recruit General Assistants to work for our Client in Westhoughton on a Temporary on-going basis.

These roles will involve working 12hr day/night shifts and you will be required to be flexible as you could be asked to work weekends and overtime. The location is on Wingates and you must be able to commit to getting to the site for 6am start and not rely on public transport.

The main purpose of the role is to ensure production across the site is maintained. This can involve everything from cleaning of the machinery Inc. print presses to locating stock within the warehouse.

The positions available are in various departments including warehouse and manufacturing to carry out a range of general warehouse duties such as;

· General Cleaning

· Disposal/Removal of waste e.g. shredding and guillotine cut offs.

· Loading and Unloading of vehicles Inc. being able to rack and de-rack materials

· Working on a production line

· Operating Machinery

· Cleaning of machinery using Shotblast Machine

Various hours are available however; flexibility is a must as it can include days, nights & weekend work plus overtime.

All applicants must have previous experience of working in a warehouse / production environment and have a steady employment background.

All Candidates will be required to go through a security clearance process before starting.
