Project Manager – 400 unit residential development, Bolton City Centre

If you got a message from me asking if you were interested in the following Project Manager position, you’d be mad not to have at least a chat, wouldn’t you? We’d be talking about a brand‑new flagship site of 400 residential units in Bolton city centre. A good 4‑year work on the one site. A simple chain of command reporting directly into the owners.

A TRUE Project Manager role in that you’ll be coordinating several site teams. Loads of variety and complexity with different types of tenures and methods of construction. A wider role that also sees you dealing with the clients and social and community elements of the site. And importantly, a top package that’ll stretch up to Contracts Manager levels of dollar for the right person.

This sounds good, right?

This iconic project has been years in planning and is now ready to go. Ideally, you’d have worked on similar projects i.e. multi‑phased developments that consist of apartments and houses and ideally with different methods of construction (steel frame, traditional build, reinforced concrete). You’ll have come from a contractor background (think Seddon, Vistry, Lovell etc) but that doesn’t mean you’ll be solely working with people with a similar background – this company welcomes all sorts of personnel with a good, strong residential skillset.

And as they’re flexible bunch, that means you don’t necessarily have to have done the all‑singing all‑dancing Project Manager role before. If you’ve built out a big site but in a Senior Site Manager role and think you’re ready for the step‑up then we can still talk – they’ll be happy to consider you.
