Solicitor, Litigation

We are seeking an experienced Solicitor, Litigation Executive or Litigation Handler to manage a caseload of litigated personal injury claims from issue through to resolution. This is a hands-on role requiring strong litigation experience, procedural confidence and the ability to run files independently.

• Managing a caseload of litigated personal injury matters
• Drafting and issuing proceedings, including Particulars of Claim
• Drafting Defences and Replies
• Preparing and responding to applications
• Ensuring compliance with the Civil Procedure Rules and court directions
• Reviewing and analysing medical evidence, witness statements and expert reports
• Conducting liability and quantum assessments
• Negotiating settlements and advising clients throughout the litigation process
• Preparing cases for hearings and trial
• Instructing and liaising with Counsel and experts
• Maintaining accurate file management and regulatory compliance

• Qualified Solicitor, Litigation Executive, or experienced Litigation Handler
• Proven experience handling litigated personal injury claims
• Strong working knowledge of CPR and litigation procedures
• Experience drafting pleadings, applications and court documents
• Ability to manage a caseload with minimal supervision
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience dealing with OIC/MOJ Portal exits
