. This is a remote role, however travel to our School sites may be required. Salary - Up to £45,000 depending on experience.

• Monitor and investigate complex information and data to identify threats and vulnerabilities in IT systems and provide incident response.
• Assist with the creation, maintenance, and delivery of cyber security awareness training for colleagues.
• Maintain an information security risk register and assist with internal and external audits relating to information security.

• Salary:
  Base salary of £35,000 - £45,000 (dependant on experience)

• Minimum one year’s experience in an IT Security Analyst role
• Proven experience developing, operating and maintaining security systems
• Knowledge of security systems including anti-virus applications, content filtering, firewalls, authentication systems and intrusion detection and notification systems
• Extensive skills and knowledge of Azure and associated applications
• Critical thinking skills and ability to solve complex problems
• Hands-on experience in security systems, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, anti-virus software, authentication systems, log management, content filtering, etc
• Experience of multiple operating systems (e.g., Windows, Linux)
• Experience in building and maintaining security systems

• Knowledge of security protocols and principles
• Experience of Data Security Protection Toolkit
• Experience of developing Standard Operating Procedures
• ITIL Foundation
• Postgraduate qualification in IT related subject
• Relevant professional qualifications
• Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or a related field
• Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
