Various shift patterns are available includingevenings, weekends and overnights.
Patient Coordinator roles are located in Bury and Bolton.
Main duties of the jobTo fulfil efficient call handling, dispatching,administration and reception duties, working as a member of the BARDOCOperations Team.

Jobresponsibilities

This list of duties and responsibilities which follows,represents the broad range of tasks which may be required to be undertakeneither routinely or periodically:
Answer telephone calls from the general public and Healthcare Professionals in a courteous, helpful and professional manner
Accurate recording of patient data in line with GDPRprotocols
Despatch home visits to BARDOC Visiting Services
Manage the bookings of Treatment Centre appointments.
Ensure effective comfort calling to patients when required
Liaise and collaborate with other external multi-disciplinary teams, such as Hospitals, Pharmacies, Nursing Services, Ambulance and Police
Any other duties reasonably falling within the nature of thispost
Self-motivated, well organised and proactive
Demonstrates accountability for own workload and open to learning from mistakes
A willingness to learning from others, sharing knowledge with colleagues
Is approachable and takes pride in own work
Acts with honesty and integrity through all you do
Demonstrates a flexible approach to working

Person Specification Qualifications- Educated to GCSE standard or equivalent
- Experience of working with the general public
- Experienced in working with IT, databases and systems
- Experience of a similar role
- Strong commitment to providing excellent customer care
- Good team worker and ability to work with on own initiative
- Enthusiastic and flexible
- Commitment to personal development
- Willingness to comply with business dress code
- Displays honesty and integrity
- Always demonstrate equality and diversity
- A satisfactory Standard Disclosure Barring Service (DBS) check
- 2 Satisfactory references [1 from current / most recent employer & 1 character]
- Knowledge of the NHS out of hours service
- Understanding of confidentiality regulations and protocols.
- Understanding of Health and Safety regulations
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to converse confidently and clearly in spoken English to both patients and colleagues
- Organisational skills
- Ability to adapt to change within the working situation
- Ability to use own initiative
- Ability to work under pressure
- IT, keyboard and telephony skills
