Purchase Ledger Assistant

Location: Bolton Middlebrook (Office-based)
Salary: £24,600 per annum
Working Pattern: Office-based, five days a week until fully trained and competent. Hybrid working may be considered following successful training and QA assessment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Process Rehabilitation & Diagnostic invoices daily, meeting KPI targets.
  • Reconcile supplier statements using Sage and Excel, ensuring accounts remain accurate and up to date.
  • Handle finance calls, respond to emails, and manage shared mailboxes on a rota basis.
  • Process manual supplier invoices directly into Sage with 100% accuracy, reporting high‑value invoices for cash flow purposes.
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders via email, phone, and post.
  • Provide support with ad hoc duties as required.
What we are looking for
  • Basic accounts knowledge and IT skills.
  • Previous experience in administration within an office environment.
  • Familiarity with Sage and Bluedog (desirable but not essential).
  • Strong communication skills, both internal and external.
