Are you an experienced Electronics Engineer looking for your next challenge in a fast-paced, innovative technology company? Our client, a leading designer and manufacturer of cutting edge, bespoke electronic solutions, is looking for a talented individual to join their growing team in the Bolton area.
The RoleAs an Electronics Engineer, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and delivering cutting‑edge electronic hardware solutions. You'll work closely with cross‑functional teams to drive product development from concept to deployment, ensuring performance, reliability, and compliance with industry standards.
This is a hands‑on technical role that also offers leadership opportunities, making it ideal for someone with a strong engineering foundation and a passion for mentoring and team collaboration.
Key Responsibilities- Design electronic hardware, create schematics, and develop PCB layouts
- Deliver product development projects in line with Project Frameworks
- Interpret project deliverables and communicate objectives to the team
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders, including Field Operations and Manufacturing
- Support prototype development and new product introduction (NPI)
- Maintain and manage electronics‑related documentation and ISO
9001‑compliant processes - Collaborate with the Technology team to identify and validate new technologies
Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of hardware design experience (preferably using Altium)
- Skilled in testing and validating electronic components and systems
- Experience with both digital and analogue circuit design, including microcontrollers
- Familiar with communication systems (LTE, Ethernet, CANBus, I2C, etc.)
- Experience with control systems, sensors, and LCD technology (Desirable)
- Understanding of the full product development lifecycle and project planning
- Programming experience for microcontrollers is desirable
