Astute's Renewables team is partnering with a global leader in the renewable energy landscape to recruit for a High Voltage Control Engineer to work across the UK and Ireland.

The HV Maintenance Technician role comes with a starting salary of up to £45,000 plus bonus scheme and pension scheme including salary sacrifice.

Reporting to the HV Operations Manager you will:

• Performing commissioning and testing of High Voltage and Low Voltage electrical equipment including transformers, switch gear and cables.
• Electrical testing, inspection and fault finding.
• Carrying out maintenance to High Voltage and Low Voltage equipment.
• Managing and authorising permits for High Voltage switching and isolations.
• Changing High Voltage components like switch gear and transformers where required.
• Write risk assessments, method statements and other documentations.
• Adhere to health and safety standards at all times.
