Special Needs Teaching Assistant - KS1

SEND Teaching Assistant - Bolton Full Time | Start ASAP | Until July 2026 | £90-£110 per day Aspire People are currently recruiting for a compassionate and dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant to join a supportive school in Bolton.

This is a full-time, long-term opportunity, starting ASAP and continuing through to July 2026.

The Role:

* Provide 1:1 and small group support for pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) in a KS1 setting ( Year 1 & Year
2)
* Support children with a range of additional needs, including ASD, ADHD, and speech & language needs
* Work closely with the class teacher and SENCO to implement tailored support plans
* Promote a positive, inclusive and nurturing learning environment
* Monitor and track student progress________________________________________The Ideal Candidate Will:
* Have previous experience supporting children with SEND
* Be patient, empathetic and adaptable
* Have strong behaviour management skills
* Be confident working both independently and as part of a team
* Hold an enhanced DBS on the update service (or be willing to obtain one)
