Grade: NJC 07 - NJC 11 (£25,584 - £27,269 Per Annum, Pro Rata)
Hours: 38 hours per week, term time only/ Mon - Friday/ 8.50am - 5.00pm (45 minutes lunch)

Beacon Primary School, part of the Forward As One CE Multi Academy Trust, is seeking to appoint a passionate and dedicated PE Coach and Mentor to join our team.
This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic individual who is committed to inclusive practice and has experience working with children with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). The successful candidate will use sport and physical activity as a powerful tool to build confidence, resilience, wellbeing and positive behaviour.
About the RoleAs our PE Coach and Mentor, you will:
- Deliver engaging, inclusive PE lessons across the primary age range
- Adapt activities to ensure full participation for pupils with SEND
- Provide 1:1 and small group mentoring for identified pupils
- Support pupils in developing confidence, teamwork, motor skills and self-esteem
- Lead extracurricular clubs and contribute to sporting events and competitions
- Promote a culture of health, wellbeing and inclusion across the school
This role combines physical education delivery with mentoring responsibilities, making it ideal for someone who is passionate about both sport and supporting vulnerable learners.
The Ideal Candidate Will Have:- Experience delivering PE or sports coaching in a primary setting
- Strong behaviour management skills and a positive, nurturing approach
- The ability to build strong, professional relationships with pupils and families
- A commitment to inclusion and safeguarding
