Full‑Time Long‑Term Opportunity

Aspire People are currently recruiting for a dedicated and compassionate SEND Teaching Assistant to support pupils within primary schools across Bolton.

This is a full‑time, long‑term opportunity, ideal for an individual who is passionate about supporting children with additional needs and making a meaningful difference in the classroom.

As a SEND Teaching Assistant, you will provide tailored support to pupils with a range of special educational needs and disabilities. You will play a key role in helping pupils access learning, develop independence, and build confidence.

• Providing 1:1 and small group support for pupils with SEND
• Supporting children with a range of needs, including ASD, ADHD, speech and language difficulties, and SEMH
• Assisting in the implementation of EHCP targets and personalised learning plans
• Promoting positive behaviour and emotional regulation strategies
• Working closely with the class teacher and SENCO to monitor progress
• Creating a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment

To be considered for this role, you should have:

• Experience supporting children with SEND (school‑based experience desirable)
• A strong understanding of additional needs and inclusive practice
• A patient, empathetic, and adaptable approach
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

• A relevant Teaching Assistant qualification (desirable but not essential)
• An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
