The Orchards Federation is seeking an exceptional Lead Practitioner (Behaviour and Pastoral) to join our Leadership Team at Cherry Tree Primary School.
About the RoleThis is a key strategic leadership position at the heart of our school.
Responsibilities- Model outstanding practice in behaviour support and pastoral care
- Lead and develop a team of pastoral specialists
- Coach, mentor and train staff to ensure consistently high standards
- Champion inclusive, evidence-informed approaches to behaviour and SEND
- With a 0.7 teaching commitment, remain firmly rooted in classroom practice while shaping whole-school systems and culture
- At least five years of successful mainstream primary teaching experience
- Strong leadership with integrity and empathy
- Understanding of evidence-based strategies for supporting pupils with autism and ADHD
- Ability to analyse data to drive improvement and hold others to account
- Experience leading high-quality CPD and supporting staff to embed agreed strategies
