Do you have the vision, expertise and drive to lead whole-school pastoral practice and empower others to achieve excellence?

The Orchards Federation is seeking an exceptional Lead Practitioner (Behaviour and Pastoral) to join our Leadership Team at Cherry Tree Primary School.

About the Role

This is a key strategic leadership position at the heart of our school.

Responsibilities
  • Model outstanding practice in behaviour support and pastoral care
  • Lead and develop a team of pastoral specialists
  • Coach, mentor and train staff to ensure consistently high standards
  • Champion inclusive, evidence-informed approaches to behaviour and SEND
  • With a 0.7 teaching commitment, remain firmly rooted in classroom practice while shaping whole-school systems and culture
Qualifications
  • At least five years of successful mainstream primary teaching experience
  • Strong leadership with integrity and empathy
  • Understanding of evidence-based strategies for supporting pupils with autism and ADHD
  • Ability to analyse data to drive improvement and hold others to account
  • Experience leading high-quality CPD and supporting staff to embed agreed strategies
