Overview
VACANCY TEACHER OF ART AND DESIGN Qualified Teacher Pay Range (Required from Easter 2026) An opportunity has arisen within our successful and highly skilled teams for a teacher to join our school as an Art and Design teacher. Our art team teach to the highest level across multiple disciplines, and we are seeking an individual who can complement and enhance this expertise.
We are a large faculty and work closely with the Design and Technology department. At Turton, our children are fiercely loyal, and so we are looking for someone who is just as committed to them. Our Art department are incredibly hard-working and supportive as well as forward-thinking and reflective, with research and discussion at the heart of any development. Teachers are our most valued resource;

The role would suit an experienced teacher or an Early Career Teacher (ECT). The distinctive Turton ethos is values-led, with compassion and good relationships underpinning all practices.
