Job Title: SEMH Learning Support Assistant
Location: Bolton
Salary: Competitive £115.00 per day
Contract: Full-time, Term-Time
Start Date: ASAP

We are looking for a caring and dedicated SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) Learning Support Assistant to join our school team in Bolton. This full-time, term-time role involves supporting students who need extra emotional and educational guidance to succeed in their learning and personal development.

• Provide one-to-one and classroom support for students with SEMH needs
• Assist teachers in delivering personalised learning plans and strategies
• Monitor and report on student progress to teaching staff
• Build positive relationships and offer emotional support to students
• Promote students  social, emotional, and behavioural development

• Experience supporting children or young people with SEMH needs is desirable
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Patience, empathy, and the ability to remain calm under pressure
• Must be a confident driver with access to a vehicle
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
• Commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
