• Act as a positive role model, mentor and consistent daily support for the child/children you work with as an EYFS Teaching Assistant.
• Support young learners with SEND to overcome early social, emotional and academic challenges as an EYFS Teaching Assistant.
• Assist the class teacher with the delivery of the EYFS curriculum in your role as an EYFS Teaching Assistant.
• Make reasonable adjustments to help pupils thrive within the early years setting as an EYFS Teaching Assistant.
• Provide 1:1 and small group support to identified pupils as an EYFS Teaching Assistant.
• Show passion for supporting children with SEMH and additional needs in your EYFS Teaching Assistant role.
• Offer support, advice and guidance to pupils and staff as an EYFS Teaching Assistant.
• Encourage independence in line with setting policies as a dedicated EYFS Teaching Assistant.

• You are an experienced EYFS Teaching Assistant or have relevant early years experience.
• You have an energetic, caring and enthusiastic personality suited to an EYFS Teaching Assistant role.
• You have knowledge of SEND and understand its impact on early years development as an EYFS Teaching Assistant.
• You are passionate about making a positive difference in the lives of young children as an EYFS Teaching Assistant.
• You have experience working with children in the EYFS age range.
