A welcoming and supportive Primary School in Harwood, Bolton is looking to appoint an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join their team. This is a full‑time position with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate. The successful applicant will work across different year groups throughout the school, supporting pupils with a range of learning needs and helping them access the curriculum effectively.

• Support pupils in whole‑class, small‑group, and 1:1 settings
• Assist teachers in delivering lessons and maintaining a positive learning environment
• Help with preparation of learning resources and classroom organization
• Provide additional support for pupils who require extra help academically, socially, or emotionally
• Encourage positive behaviour and support school routines
• Work collaboratively with teachers, support staff, and senior leadership to meet the needs of all pupils

• Experience supporting children in a primary school setting
• Patience, empathy, and a nurturing approach
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Flexibility to support across multiple year groups
• Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant qualification preferred but not essential
