Job Description

We are looking for enthusiastic and reliable General Teaching Assistants to join friendly and supportive primary school in Sefton, Liverpool. This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals passionate about working with children and supporting their learning in the classroom.

• Support teaching and learning across the classroom.
• Provide 1:1 and small group support where required.
• Assist with activities in literacy, numeracy, and other subjects.
• Promote positive behaviour and encourage pupil engagement.
• Help with classroom preparation, organisation, and displays.
• Support pupils with additional needs when necessary.

• Previous experience working with children in a school, nursery, or similar setting (desirable but not essential).
• Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply).
• Good communication, patience, and teamwork skills.
• A genuine interest in helping children learn and develop.
