Role Description

This is a full‑time on‑site role for a Contract Manager, based in Bolton. The Contract Manager will oversee all aspects of construction contracts, ensuring adherence to compliance standards and timelines. Daily responsibilities include managing budgets, negotiating contract terms, ensuring health and safety standards are met, supervising project teams, liaising with clients and stakeholders, and monitoring project progress to ensure timely and high‑quality delivery.

The Contract Manager will also contribute to achieving customer satisfaction and resolving any potential issues that may arise throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications
  • Strong contract management, project management, and negotiation skills
  • Experience with budgeting, financial planning, and cost management
  • Knowledge of industry‑specific compliance, health and safety standards, and legal regulations
  • Excellent leadership, team management, and decision‑making capabilities
  • Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills to engage with clients, stakeholders, and team members
  • Problem‑solving and analytical skills with a focus on achieving solutions that align with best value and customer satisfaction
  • Familiarity with construction, structural, scaffolding, and roofing processes is highly desirable
  • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Business, or a related field is preferred
