Warranty Controller – Part time
Retail Renault Group UK Ltd. – Bolton BL3 2NU
Base pay: £15,288 pa + bonus (part‑time, 3 days per week, 9am‑5pm). Hybrid working available 2 days per week from home. No onsite parking.
About the Role- Safeguard profitability by ensuring accurate, timely, and maximised recovery of warranty claims.
- Submit claims using technician reports in line with manufacturer guidelines.
- Negotiate with warranty providers and manufacturers to secure rightful reimbursements.
- Prepare invoices for internal preparation work and manage job card administration.
- Follow up outstanding warranty invoices to drive recovery rates.
- Maintain accurate records via Dealer Management System (DMS) and Microsoft Excel.
- Promote best practice across the regional network to ensure optimal claim success.
- Collaborate closely with Service Advisors, Technicians, the Parts Manager, Accounts, and the Head of Business – teamwork and clear communication are essential.
- Proven track record as a Warranty Controller or Senior Service Advisor.
- Confidence in handling warranty disputes with professionalism and fairness.
- Excellent communication skills (face‑to‑face, phone, email, live chat).
- Experience with warranty systems and dealer management systems (e.g., Kerridge, ADP Autoline, CDK Drive).
- Competence with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams.
- Ability to handle sensitive cases with discretion and accuracy.
- Self‑motivated and organised with strong prioritisation skills.
This role is part‑time (21 hours per week), 3 days per week (flexible days), 9am‑5pm with 1 hour lunch. Hybrid working 2 days per week from home.
