Caledon Community Services (CCS)since 1971.

CCS
is a non-profit organization that provides health care and community services to the residents of Caledon.
CCS
supports assisted living for seniors, newcomer services, youth and employment services, specialized transportation services, food support, and referrals to community resources.

Volunteer Store Associates contribute to the generation of revenue in support of various CCS programs and activities by assisting in the safe, efficient and customer friendly operation of Evolve Caledon.

• Welcome and serve shoppers and donors in a friendly and helpful manner and consistently provide superior customer service;
• Maintain orderly sales floor, dressing rooms and check out areas;
• Replenish inventory, place clothing on hangers and items on racks, distribute to the appropriate area on the sales floor and merchandise shelves, etc. in a pleasing manner;
• Answer customer enquiries in a professional manner.
• Safely lift and maneuver boxes and bags of donated items up to 30 kilos (with assistance);
• Sort through donations and evaluate items for quality and condition;
• Price items according to established guidelines;
• Assists with mentoring youth and other volunteers;
• Other duties as required.
