Sign Assembler

We have an immediate opening for the position of Sign Assembler. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who has the sign experience and is looking for a change. It’s an exciting time in the sign industry and we want YOU to be a part of it! You must have the ability to work with hand tools and be willing to learn different areas in the shop.

The responsibilities of this role include the following and a few more:

• Assist in the preparation of custom metal fabrications and welds.
• Shape letter walls for channel letters.
• Various assembly requirements for multiple sign types.
• Record and Present ideas to improve production efficiency to Production Supervisor.
• Prepare paint items, as necessary.
• Shape, cut and sand letters when required.
• Planning time before starting day/project to ensure jobs are prioritized based on production Manager’s requirements.
• Logging time in company ERP system daily
• Report unsafe working conditions when identified.
• Follow Twilight Signs & Neon’s Health and Safety policies and procedures and the safety requirements of the Ministry of Labor. Report any issues to your manager immediately

• Sign manufacturing experience an asset
• Forklift certification an asset
• Ability to read shop drawings
• Speak English, read English, write English
